It's been a whirlwind of a year - from capturing your special memories to attending conventions to promote our brand - and we've accomplished a lot.
2023 has been an exciting year (in fact, our best on yet!) and we've taken the opportunity to see what's worked for us and our clients and where we can improve upon things. I'm proud to say that we've been hard at work updating everything from our photo sessions to our print offerings and promotional merch with a fresh new look, and I'd like to share some of that with you now.
PHOTO SESSIONS
For a while now we wanted to expand the our photo session offerings to provide more value for our clients. With the addition of our couples and portrait photography offerings, we're happy to announce that as of October 2023, we're also offering dedicated cosplay sessions with our Cosplay Couture package, special event photography for ranging from private, intimate gatherings all the way up to and large public events. We also have the ability to provide dedicated commercial photography opportunities to small and medium business that need exceptional images for their website, catalogs, menus or wherever else they need to showcase their business.
This year, we decided to offer exclusive mini photo shoots for Tekko attendees for the first time. The response we got was incredible and I'm happy to say we cannot wait to head back to Pittsburgh next July to see everyone again and all the hard work you put into your cosplays.
With our new and enhanced photo session offerings, we're your go-to boutique photography studio to capture your memories or image!
MERCH STORE
Earlier this year, we dipped our toe into the branded merch waters and we were excited to see what we could offer. Normally, most merch can be kind of boring since everyone offers the same sorts of things (usually, apparel) so we decided to take a slightly different approach to our merch.
Looking at the things we're passionate about, we wanted to any branded merchandise we offered to be things that our own staff would want to buy. We also had to have production be sustainable (i.e., not have a bunch of inventory sitting around in warehouses contributing to a carbon footprint) and also have a positive impact towards the causes we're passionate about.
To that end, we're extremely proud to announce the launch of our dedicated merchandise store - just in time for the holiday season - powered by Square! Browse our of hand-picked selections of drinkware, stickers, and everyday accessories that not only bring a touch of class to your life, but also benefit others. We're thrilled to be able to now donate 25% of the purchase price of select items to charities such as The Trevor Project and the Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) and this includes items sold at their regular price or at a discount. Over time, we'll be adding others so we can have as much of an impact as possible.

In addition to these awesome new developments, some smaller things we wanted to share with you are:
- As you might have guessed, we now have a blog on our website that we can use to share news and updates, promotions, and other exciting developments with you. Look for more posts coming soon.
- We took a look at our social media presence and made a conscious decision to participate in platforms where our clients currently are and that also align with our values. Check us out on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Mastodon!
- We've cleaned up and organized our email newsletters so you'll receive only what's relevant. Subscribe to get the latest promotions, discounts, and news direct to your inbox. We're also launching SMS coming later this year.
- Clearly defined business policies, along with our existing privacy policy, are now directly on our website so you don't have to hunt for them in the fine print any longer. We also have a page dedicated to shipping timeframes and holiday deadlines, so you're always guaranteed to get your orders before the next major holiday.
As you can see, everything we do is planned and executed in the spirit of Memorias colitur - always asking ourselves what we can do to help curate the best possible memories for our clients and the communities in which we're a part.
