Business Policies

Fair Treatment

As a proud LGBTQIA2+ and disability-owned business, the Mulberry Photo Werx reserves the right to refuse service for any reason to anyone. Common examples that contribute to our inability to provide services are: rude, dehumanizing or inappropriate behavior before or during a session, inappropriate comments made to any staff member regardless of intention, and placing equipment or staff in peril. This is not a definitive list. Staff may ask you cease the offensive behavior - we strongly recommend this.

Mulberry Photo Werx does not discriminate based on a person's national origin, race, color, religion, disability, sexual identity or preference, gender identity, familial status, person's birthplace, ancestry, culture or language.

Payments, Cancellations, Refunds & Exchanges

Accepted Payment Methods

Payments for services and products are accepted using only the following methods:

  • Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit and debit cards
  • Personal or business check via ACH *
  • Cash App
  • Money Order (USPS & Western Union)
  • Cashier's Check
  • Apple Pay & Google Pay
  • Cash (only at pop-up locations)
  • AfterPay
  • Cryptocurrency **

* Personal and business checks are accepted only via automated clearinghouse (ACH) to help combat fraud. Square is our payment processor for these transactions. Payments for services via check must be submitted at minimum 10 days prior to your session date to ensure funds clear in time. Check payments received via mail will be returned undeposited.

** As of April 2025, Mulberry Photo Werx accepts the following cryptocurrencies for payment: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, and Solana. We also accept Tether USD and USD Coin stablecoins on the Ethereum network. Our payment address is mulberryphotowerx.eth. Mulberry Photo Werx does not accept meme coins of any kind as payment.

Order Issues

If you have an issue with your print order, please contact us at clients@mulberryphotowerx.com with your order number. Print items are only eligible for cancellation and refund prior to printing. Once an order has been submitted for printing, order cancellation and refund is not possible. However, we can offer an exchange for another print item from our shop.

Refunds & Exchanges

Refunds of all monies paid for professional photography services, minus any retainers and reasonable business costs, are available provided the cancellation policy in the contract is adhered to. Upon delivery of images, all monies paid is non-refundable and image files cannot be returned to Business. If only a retainer is paid, and the Client follows the outlined cancellation process in this Schedule of Work, the retainer shall be converted into a studio credit applicable towards booking a future session.

Refunds or exchanges of Memorias colitur merchandise through our online merch shop or at a pop-up event is available within 30 days. Please email us with your order number at clients@mulberryphotowerx.com so we can coordinate your return or exchange with our vendor.

Due to their nature, digital wallpapers, exclusives, limited-edition items, and all custom prints are not eligible for return or exchange.

Funds paid towards sessions that were terminated under our Fair Treatment policy will not be refunded. In our sole discretion, Mulberry Photo Werx may choose to donate the proceeds to one or more foundations and charities on our list of approved organizations.

Shipping

Shipping Methods

We ship to the United States, its territories and possessions using the following carriers:

  • United States Postal Service (USPS)
  • UPS

In-Transit Damage

Damaged caused by the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, etc), must be documented before the package has been opened (damaged/dented/torn shipping container, etc). Please contact us at clients@mulberryphotowerx.com within 24 hours of your package arriving with photos and a brief message about your delivery experience and we’ll respond within one business day.

Order Processing & Handling

Print Orders

All orders regardless of medium are submitted to our print partner with a two-day (2) lead time.

Should you have any questions or you wish to cancel your order during this lead time, please reach out to us immediately at clients@mulberryphotowerx.com or call us direct at (412) 413-9125. Refunds for print orders are available only prior to your order being submitted to our printer. Any custom orders should be noted before or at the time you place your order, as we cannot hold print orders for customization once they have been entered into our system.

Digital Orders

Orders for digital wallpapers are fulfilled immediately from our online print shop. Should you have any questions about the fulfillment process for any of our digital wallpapers, please reach out to us at clients@mulberryphotowerx.com before placing your order.

Order Pick-Ups

Some items purchased online may be picked up at a pop-up location within 14 days. To arrange this, please email us at clients@mulberryphotowerx.com. A receipt isn't necessary to provide, however it is helpful for us to be able to locate your transaction in our system.
